Ateknea has extensive experience in acquiring financing for research, development and innovation projects through European funding programs aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The preparation of grant proposals is an essential part of this work.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team as a Proposal Manager

The key responsibilities of the Proposal Manager will include:

• Drafting grant proposals in English, according to the specifications of the financing program and our internal guidelines.

• Investigating the market and economic feasibility of new products and services.

• Analyzing and validating innovative project concepts in the proposal preparation phase.

• Preparing case studies, business plans and exploitation agreements.

• Collaborating in consortium building and innovation management activities.

• Coordinating in the proposal preparation stage with engineers, scientists and industrial partners.

• Reviewing and submitting technical project reports.

The ideal candidate shall have:

• A university degree (Science/Technology or Business oriented).

• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Experience in grant proposal writing, communications or related field requiring the preparation of written material in English.

• Proven track record in national or European financing programs, research/innovation projects or European institutions is an advantage.

• Experience in preparing Business Plans• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities; creative thinking, personal initiative and strong communication skills.• Ability to commit to customer milestones and service levels.• Ability to work independently, autonomous thinking. Proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions.

C++ Developer

We are looking for a C++ developer responsible for building applications that may range from desktop applications to native mobile applications and embedded systems, working in R&D and development of European Research Projects. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

 

The key responsibilities will include:

-Participates as a member of the software development team.

-Take part in the technical execution innovative projects.

-Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.

-Implement performance and quality modules.

-Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

-Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

 

The ideal candidate shall have:

-Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification. At least 3 years of programming and software C++ development experience.

-Some experience with at least one other programming language (Python, Java, etc.).

-Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.

-Have good understanding of system architectures, design patterns, and operating systems (Windows and Unix).

-Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions.

-Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments

-Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests

-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, SVN, …)

-Familiarity with continuous integration Familiarity with graphical user interfaces (Qt, MFC, …)

-Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities; creative thinking, personal initiative and strong communication skills.

Hardware Engineer

We are looking for an engineer to join our electronics department, who will work on the development of European research projects. Its main responsibility will be to design and develop hardware for different projects.

 

The key responsibilities will include:

– Take part in R & D projects

– Elaborate the specifications of the system in function of the objectives of the project and the initial plans

– Design, develop and test prototypes of innovative products and devices

– Documentation of results and report writing

– Cooperate closely with technical partners and other departments

 

The ideal candidate shall have:

– Technical engineering: Electronics, telecommunications or industrial

– Minimum experience of one year in schematic PCB design.

– Experience in test circuits and knowledge in electronic instrumentation.

– Knowledge in power and analog electronics.

– Knowledge of Altium Designer will be desirable

– Previous experience in embedded system will be desirable

– Fluent English (spoken and written)

– Demonstrated problem solving skills

– Ability to work independently or within an international team
