Ateknea sponsors Malta Horizon 2020 Info Day

Ateknea will be sponsoring and actively taking part in a Horizon 2020 Info Day  for SMEs in Sliema, Malta on Friday, 2 October 2015.

The main objectives of the event is to foster innovation in Maltese SMEs, to promote their participation in high-tech projects and to make businesses aware of funding options available to carry out their innovation and business development. 

As the event is targeted at SMEs,  the Info Day will focus the characteristics and main benefits of the SME Instrument (SME-I) – a unique EU funding programme specially for SMEs with a product, service or process prototype that has been tested in a relevant environment Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6) or above – to bring innovations closer and quicker to the market.

The Info Day will kick off with a welcome address from Hon. Dr. Ian Borg MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Malta’s EU presidency in 2017.  Ateknea’s CEO and representatives from our Malta office will present Ateknea and share best practices and SME-I success stories to Maltese and Italian businesses who are seeking alternative methods to finance their business growth.

The event and networking forum will be held at The Palace Hotel in Sliema, Malta on Friday 2nd October 2015, from 9am to 3pm.
